The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of UAVs over the region

Air defense forces destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the territory of Bryansk region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on December 23.

"Over the territory of the Bryansk region by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation detected and destroyed an aircraft-type UAV," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that there were no casualties or damage. Operational and emergency services are working at the scene.

Earlier, on December 22, Bogomaz said that Russian air defense forces destroyed a UAV over the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or damage. On the same day, the governor reported the elimination of five Ukrainian UAVs over the region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
