A passenger train collided with a rock fallen on the railroad track and derailed near the town of Gabrovo in Bulgaria. This was reported by the Bulgarian Telegraphic Agency(BTA) on December 22.

It is specified that the train was traveling from the village of Tsareva-Livada to the town of Gabrovo. The incident occurred at about 18:45 local time (19:45 Moscow time). There were a total of 15 passengers on the train. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, the publication said.

Train traffic on the emergency section has been temporarily stopped. Passengers of the train were taken to the destination by buses.

Earlier, on October 24, it was reported that one person died after the train derailed in Norwegian Nurlan. The passenger train, traveling from Trondheim to Bodø, derailed at 14:15 (13:15 Moscow time). It was preliminarily carrying about 60 people. In total, more than 90 tickets were purchased.
