The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of a drone in the region

Russian air defense forces have destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Bryansk region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on December 22.

"Over the territory of the Bryansk region by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation detected and destroyed an aircraft-type UAV. There are no casualties or damage," he specified in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz noted that employees of operational and emergency services are working at the scene.

Earlier in the day Bogomaz reported the elimination of five Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region. There were no casualties and no destruction.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
