Guests of the "Journey to Christmas" festival were invited to master classes

The "Journey to Christmas" festival continues in Moscow. A variety of master classes are planned as part of the event, the organizers reported.

From January 5 to 8, as well as January 11 and 12 in the center of the capital, children are invited to collect unusual garlands and decorations for the Christmas tree.

As part of the festival on Serebryakova Street on January 4 and 8 at 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00 children will be able to create a unique New Year's card using sequins and beads in the mosaic technique.

On January 5 and 8 at 14:00 and 17:00 visitors of the workshops will learn to create a greeting poster based on the cartoon "38 Parrots", which is loved by many generations.

On January 9 at 15:00 and 17:00 on Serebryakova Street will show how our grandmothers wrapped New Year's gifts.

On Gorodetskaya Street, Volgogradsky Prospekt and Pererva Street works "Winter Kinodom", where they teach the behavior of the actor in the frame. Participants of master classes play a mini-scene from a children's New Year's movie and create a movie clapper. Unique acting techniques and methods attract many participants. Every child can express himself and present his movie idea on January 4, 7 and 9 at 15:00.

At the same addresses young guests will be offered to create plasticine characters of the New Year cartoon and learn the secrets of their animation. Pupils will be able to invent their own characters on January 7 at 18:00.

Figure skating master classes with experienced coaches are available in the square on Khachaturian Street for those who are confident on skates. Visitors learn how to perform simple elements, which add up to a small dance on the ice. There will also be competitions between festival guests. Age restrictions are 10+ for the first group and 18+ for the second. Skates can be brought with you or rented.

On Grekova Street, participants will learn about festive traditional recipes. They will prepare a popular salad with poultry meat, potatoes and vegetables dressed with mayonnaise on January 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 at 14:00. Here you can also try the time-tested recipe of sweet cottage cheese with raspberries on January 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 at 15:00.

Of special interest is a master class on layering the salad "Mimosa", as it was done by housewives in the 70s of the last century. The class will be held on January 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 at 16:00.

On Sukhonskaya Street from January 5 to 12 at 18:00 they will cook chicken with fragrant spices and ruddy potatoes. On the same dates at 16:00, the favorite salad Olivier with vegetables, doctor's sausage and mayonnaise is cut here.
