Trump promised to close the U.S. border to illegals on his first day in office

US President-elect Donald Trump, speaking at the Turning Point USA conference in Arizona on December 22, promised to close the country's border to illegal migrants on his first day in office.
"On my first day in the Oval Office, I will sign a historic package of executive orders to close our border to illegal immigrants," Trump said. The event is being broadcast by US TV channel The Sun on YouTube.
In addition, the future head of state announced the largest deportation of migrants in US history.
"Every foreign gang member and illegal alien, every criminal network that operates on American soil will be disbanded, deported and destroyed," he promised.
Earlier in the day, CNN reported that Trump's team was exploring ways to abolish birthright U.S. citizenship. In private conversations, his allies are developing strategies, including ordering the State Department not to issue passports to children born to undocumented parents and tightening requirements for tourist visas to combat birth tourism, the piece said.
Before that, on Nov. 5, Trump, at that time still a presidential candidate, said in his final speech before the election that the US is an occupied country because of migrants. He promised to "save" every city and town that had been "invaded and conquered." Later that month, the Republican confirmed that his administration would be prepared to use the military and declare a state of emergency to deport illegals en masse.
In February, Fox News reported that 7.2 million illegal migrants have entered the United States during the presidency of current U.S. leader Joe Biden, more than the population of any of the 36 possible states.
