The Rada said the AFU collapsed due to corrupt commanders
The Ukrainian army is falling apart due to corrupt commanders. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada MP Maryana Bezuglaya on 22 December.
According to her, generals support corruption - "their own" are arranged in the rear, and those who are not capable of bribery and intrigue are sent to the infantry.
"The army is falling apart and rotting precisely because of the quality of management and decisions made at the top," she wrote in her Telegram channel.
Bezuglaya also condemned the "meat assaults" without preliminary reconnaissance of the territory and building unit interaction that military commanders condemn infantry to.
"I am not talking about the fact that doctors, air defense specialists, artillerymen and so on should be improved, rather than sent to a non-specialty where they will be ineffective and quickly die," Bezuglaya said.
On November 2, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Ukraine will be in Western bondage for decades and will pay for its debts with its residents, subsoil and territories.
On 26 November, Bezuglaya said that Ukraine's statehood is threatened with collapse due to numerous problems of the Ukrainian army. She linked such a forecast to the facts of corruption at all levels.
On 30 October, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko criticized the Ukrainian government for serving the interests of corrupt officials when speaking at a session of the Ukrainian parliament. The former president accused the Ukrainian government of ignoring the main priority of the Ukrainian budget, namely the funding of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
