The driver of a Subaru car hit a woman pedestrian to death on Moskovsky Avenue in St. Petersburg. This was reported on December 22 by the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

It is noted that the accident occurred at 12:50 in the area of the house 173. Behind the wheel of the car was a 57-year-old man.

"The driver, driving a Subaru, in the zone of the regulated crosswalk made a collision with an unidentified woman, looking 50 years old, who was crossing the roadway at the prohibiting traffic signal", - stated in the message Telegram-channel of the Department.

From the injuries received, the woman died on the spot. The circumstances of the tragedy are established.

Earlier, on December 22, the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region reported that the driver of the "KamAZ" hit two elderly pedestrians, a man and a woman, in Dmitrov near Moscow. As a result of the incident, the man died, the woman was injured and hospitalized. The accident occurred at 08:25 at the 71st km of the highway A-104 Moscow - Dmitrov - Dubna.
