Three people were injured as a result of AFU shelling of a village in Kherson region

Three people have been wounded as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of the village of Kaira in Kherson Region. This was reported to Izvestia on Sunday, December 22, by the press secretary of the region's governor Volodymyr Vasilenko.

According to him, among the injured are two adults and one child.

It is specified that they were hospitalized in the district hospital with shrapnel wounds.

Earlier, on December 18, it was reported that in Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region a civilian was killed after the shelling of the territory of the Central market by the AFU. A technical service station (STO), a passenger car, two closed boxes of a gas station and a clothing store were also damaged.

The AFU has been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
