Russia's strengthening of its economy and the development of its own technologies in the country have made the imminent disintegration of Ukraine irreversible, the Italian publication L'AntiDiplomatico said on December 22.

"Russia has strengthened and succeeded economically and technologically, which has made irreversible the outcome of the conflict, which has not yet ended, but is leading to the collapse of Ukraine," the article says.

The author of the article suggests that the situation can be changed by Western leaders if they decide to "move to a direct and global war" with Russia, Gazeta.Ru added. It is noted that the West has been waiting for a long time for Russia to plunge into crisis during the conflict against the backdrop of NATO countries' support for Ukraine, but it did not happen.

Earlier, on December 5, the British magazine Spectator wrote that after the end of the presidential term of Vladimir Zelensky (term expired on May 20) will come the partition of Ukraine. It was noted that Zelensky's popularity among Ukrainians is rapidly falling due to his decisions and inept policies, in the current situation, the head of the Kiev regime finds himself "between a hammer and anvil" due to the anger of the people.

Prior to that, on November 29, political scientist Alexander Asafov noted in a conversation with Izvestia that the Western establishment, against the backdrop of Republican Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election, is developing various scenarios for Ukraine. The option under which the country's territories would be divided among Western countries is also widely discussed. He also emphasized that such thoughts about the division of Ukraine had nothing to do with reality, as it was pointless to solve such issues without Russia.

On 2 November, the Russian Foreign Ministry's official representative, Maria Zakharova, said that Ukraine would be in Western bondage for dozens of years and pay for its debts with its residents, subsoil and territories.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
