The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an AFU UAV by FPV drone in the Kursk border area


The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed an armored combat vehicle (ACV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by FPV drone in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on Sunday, December 22, showing objective control footage.
The servicemen of the unit of the "North" group of troops detected an enemy combat vehicle near a populated area in the region.
"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the enemy's TBM. The detected target was promptly destroyed by the calculations of FPV-drones of the grouping of troops "North"," the department said in a statement.
The objective control footage shows the sighting and precise striking of the BBM.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (AFS) launched a strike on AFU personnel and a stronghold in the border area of the Kursk region.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
