The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, has instructed to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the established circumstances of the fact of torture of children in the Republic of Adygea. The corresponding instruction was published on the agency's website on December 21.

"The head of the IC of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Adygea Larin V.A. to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the established circumstances", - specified in the publication.

The agency specified that the two older children were able to escape to their mother, but the younger one remains in his father's house and is systematically abused.

Earlier in the day, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic announced the beginning of procedural verification of the fact of torture of children. It was reported about two beaten minors aged 17 and 16 years. It was noted that employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and prevention bodies were involved in the process.
