An expert talks about the reasons for the growth of the shearing services market in Russia

Shearing services have become commonplace for Russians, and therefore the market for these services is growing every year. This was reported on December 22 in a conversation with Sputnik radio by Olga Pozdnyakova, head of the "Popular Front. Analytics" Olga Pozdnyakova.

The first reason is that thanks to the shearing services Russians can save money on buying expensive goods. According to the expert, some families need to take out a loan to buy something, and the ability to take the necessary thing for rent allows you to avoid this.

"To buy for a while, without taking out a loan, for many families is a way out, given that we have a very over-credited population. But at the same time, most likely, a person will buy what he will use every day, and rent what he needs for a short time," - said Pozdnyakova.

In addition, she added that the reason for the development of the shearing market is a change in the approach to the space of apartments.

"People have fallen in love with spaciousness and space. Even a small apartment does not want to be cluttered. Therefore, shearing is also a solution to this issue," the expert said.

In her opinion, another reason is the formation of the service of postamats, in which people can automatically store and receive orders. Pozdnyakova also added that the financial development in Russia over the past 30 years has led to the fact that the country's citizens have revised their attitude to all things. Society is now changing not only because of problems, but also in general due to the development of technology, opportunities and with certain experience. Therefore, she noted, the growth of the shearing market will increase.

Earlier, on December 10, analysts of the shering platform "Renter" told "Izvestia" that the volume of the market of shering services in Russia every year is growing by 40%. According to their data, the top 5 product categories that were in the highest demand included set-top boxes - they were rented by 22% of users; cleaning equipment - 20%; laptops - 20%; DIY power tools - in 12%; VR-devices -10%.
