Su-34 crew destroyed an AFU stronghold in a border area of Kursk Region


The crew of a Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (AFS) has struck personnel and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 22.
It is specified that the strike on the reconnaissance enemy targets was carried out by aviation bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).
After confirmation from intelligence about the destruction of personnel and a Ukrainian army stronghold, the Su-34 crew safely returned to the airfield of departure.
Earlier, on December 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that a Hyacinth-B howitzer destroyed an AFU artillery piece in the Kursk border region. Intelligence detected and found out the exact location of the AFU artillery installation, which attacked the positions of the Russian Armed Forces (AF). Its coordinates were passed on to the Hyacinth-B calculation, which aimed the howitzer and made a precise shot, which hit the enemy's gun.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
