Two police officers were seriously injured in a road accident in Makeyevka

The driver of a passenger car in a state of alcoholic intoxication crashed into a service car of the Interior Ministry in Makeyevka, Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), two police officers and a passenger in their car were seriously injured. This was reported in the press service of the regional Interior Ministry on December 21.

The incident occurred on Saturday at 16:40 Moscow time in the Gornyatsky district of Makeyevka involving a Volkswagen Passat car, which drove into the oncoming lane, and a service car Lada Granta, in which there were employees of the police department for servicing the Gornyatsky district of Makeyevka.

The injured police officers and a passenger who was in their car at the time of the accident, suffered severe injuries and were hospitalized in a medical facility.

"The offender was sent to undergo a medical examination for intoxication, the results of which revealed 0.935 ppm of alcohol in his blood", - specified in the message in the Telegram-channel.

Earlier in the day , four people, among them two minors, suffered in an accident with an ambulance and a passenger car in Krasnoufimsk, Sverdlovsk region. It was preliminarily established that the 63-year-old driver of a Hyundai Getz did not give way to a UAZ ambulance when passing a regulated intersection at a permissive traffic signal, which was moving with lights and sound signals on to transport a seriously ill patient.
