Putin was informed about the UAV attack on Kazan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been informed about a UAV attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on Kazan. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TASS on December 21.
"Putin regularly receives all reports on the line of the military department. Twice a day he receives reports from all military commanders," Peskov added.
The Kremlin spokesman also said that the Russian president spoke with Tatarstan's head Rustam Minnikhanov after the Kazan attack.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry was outraged by the hypocritical silence of the West after Ukrainian UAV attacks on the capital of Tatarstan.
Earlier in the day, Tatarstan introduced an emergency situation regime (ES) for the authorities and special services after the drone attack on Kazan. It was specified that these measures are necessary for the rapid elimination of consequences, the special regime and the regional level of response do not apply to the residents of the republic.
On December 21, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that six AFU drones were destroyed over the territory of Kazan in the morning of that day. The head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov called the attack an attack on civilians.
A total of eight drones were fired over the territory of Kazan. The press service of the city mayor's office reported that the attack resulted in fire in houses in the Sovetsky and Kirovsky districts. The arrival of UAVs in the residential complex "Azure Skies" was recorded on video.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
