In Brazil, 22 people were killed in a bus accident

As a result of an accident involving a bus in the Brazilian city of Teofilo Otoni 22 people died. This was reported on Saturday, December 21, news portal G1 with reference to the fire department.

It is specified that in the morning of December 21, the bus, traveling from São Paulo to the city of Vitoria da Conquista, burst a tire, the driver lost control, and the vehicle crashed into the trailer of the car driving in front of it. A car that was following the bus also crashed into it, after which the bus caught fire.

As a result, 22 people were killed and 13 others were hospitalized.

Traffic on the section of the highway was blocked. Operational services are working at the site.

Earlier, on December 6, at least 26 people were killed and 28 injured in a road accident involving two minibuses in Cote D'Ivoire. All the injured were taken to a hospital in the town of Issia.
