In Odessa, a leopard attacked a zoo employee during cleaning in the enclosure, the police shot the animal. About it on December 21 reported in the main Department of the national police of the Odessa region.

"Arriving at the site, the police found in the enclosure with a leopard another employee who tried to help the injured trapped in the enclosure. To save lives, the police were forced to use weapons and disarm the animal," - stated in the message on the website of the national police.

Earlier, December 17, three lions escaped from the cage and mauled the keeper at the private zoo Lion Park in Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. The cage with the animals had forgotten to close and they escaped. The keeper tried to chase the predators back in, but the lions attacked him.
