A New Year's show "The Wizard from Veliky Ustyug" will be shown on the stage of the Gorbunov Palace of Culture in Moscow.

This is an interactive performance that combines elements of theater, circus, and high technology. The complex also has a unique stage with a digital panel of 45 degrees, and Ded Moroz's helpers descend from a recreated snow mountain. It is noted that almost everything is ready for the multimedia show.

"The illusion is created that a person is really either floating in the height somewhere, or climbing on the rocks, or he is sucked there by a hurricane," - emphasized the creative producer Andrei Furmanchuk.

Lighting designer Anton Gordienko noted that circus performers work in the production, which imposes a certain specificity on the lighting design. He added that the flight numbers are performed without insurance.

Artist-acrobat Innokenty Tarakanov, who plays the role of Santa Claus' assistant, shared that according to the plot they are very diligent in packing and sending gifts for sorting, but there are cases when someone gets flirtatious.

According to the storyline, the helpers mixed up the children's gifts. According to actress Ekaterina Vinogradova, her character Katya receives a teddy bear, which is not the gift she asked for.

The children go to Santa Claus to get an explanation for the mixed up gifts. On the way, the heroes will meet many dangers. They will also need the help of the audience to reach the wizard.

"Very often it's the same with adults. We seem to want and dream about one thing, but we want something else. And who, as not Santa Claus, knows our true desires and can realize them," - shared artistic director Daniel Weiger.

It is noted that the finale of the story will be unexpected for the audience and will make them think about true wishes and their consequences.

Earlier in the day "Izvestia" got acquainted with the Rambler&Co poll, according to which on New Year's Eve more than 20% of Russians will prefer to watch movies and TV series on online platforms in addition to traditional shows on TV. It is noted that online cinemas will show the movie "New Year's Miracle", comedies "Baba Yaga Saves the New Year" and "One Day in Istanbul".
