Russians will face a six-day working week at the end of December

Russians will have to work for six days in the next working week - from Monday, December 23 to Saturday, December 28. A longer schedule awaits workers in connection with the upcoming New Year holidays, such a production calendar approved by the Russian government.
The government decree moved the working day from December 30 to the 28th. In this case, Saturday working day is not considered to be reduced, but the employer himself can reduce its duration.
December 31 became a day off after the transfer of the day off from January 7 this year. Thanks to this, the New Year holidays will last 11 days: from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025.
Earlier, on December 18, neuroscientist Tatiana Smirnova told what will help to survive the six-day work week. The expert recommended to divide the day into one and a half to two-hour blocks and make after each of them a 10-15-minute break, distracted by a warm-up, a walk or a conversation with colleagues. Smirnova also advised adding foods rich in complex carbohydrates (cereal, whole-grain bread), omega-3 (fish, nuts) and magnesium (greens, bananas) to the diet.
