Installation of architectural and artistic illumination started on Zhivopisnoye Bridge in Moscow

Installation of equipment for architectural and artistic illumination has begun on the Zhivopisnoye Bridge in the north-west of Moscow. This was reported on Friday, December 20, by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and landscaping Pyotr Biryukov.

According to him, all bridges in the capital are equipped with architectural and artistic illumination, allowing to emphasize their architectural elements and create a beautiful visual image of the structures.

Specialists of the municipal economy complex of the city will install lighting devices inside and at the base of the cables of the Zhivopisnogo bridge, reports the agency of city news "Moscow". In total, power engineers will install more than 400 LED devices with a capacity of 150 to 200 watts of warm and neutral shades of white color, imitating natural lighting, writes the site kp.ru.

Biryukov added that LEDs turn on instantly, their service life is about 50 thousand hours - that's 12 years of continuous operation, specified IA Regnum. They allow to reduce energy consumption by 30% and reduce the load on power grids.
