Malka SAU units destroyed AFU equipment and manpower in the Kursk border area

The 203-millimeter Malka self-propelled artillery units of the North group of troops destroyed enemy shelters, military equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 21.

According to the ministry, the artillerymen of the "North" group of troops operate jointly with unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) calculations. The reconnaissance drones help detect shelters, equipment and enemy locations. After transmitting the coordinates, the artillerymen began destroying the enemy's armored vehicles. After completing the task, the calculations promptly left the firing positions.

As noted in the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, the published footage shows the crew deploying and aiming in a matter of minutes. The system of feeding into the barrel is automatic. Malka SAU calculations are firing from firing positions at a range of several dozen kilometers and destroy everything within a radius of 100 meters.

It is noted that among the artillerymen there are fighters, marked by high state and departmental awards.

Earlier, on December 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the howitzer "Hyacinth-B" destroyed an artillery gun of the AFU in the Kursk border area. Intelligence has discovered and found out the exact location of the AFU artillery installation, which attacked the positions of the Russian Armed Forces. Its coordinates were passed on to the Hyacinth-B calculation, which aimed the howitzer and fired a precise shot that hit the enemy's gun.

Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues.
