American entrepreneur Ilon Musk accused the Associated Press agency of propaganda after a car hit a crowd in the German city of Magdeburg. He wrote about it on December 20 in the social network X (former Twitter).

"AP stands for Associated Propaganda," Musk commented on a social network user's post about the publication's use of the suffering pledge in an article about the terrorist attack at the Christmas fair in Magdeburg, which could lead to the opinion that the car was driving peacefully on its own, and the victims were few and the event insignificant.

Earlier, Musk after the incident in the German city of Magdeburg once again called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a fool and called on him to resign immediately.

About the collision of a car into a crowd in the city of Magdeburg in Germany became known earlier in the day. The newspaper Bild with reference to the rescue service reported that the number of injured could be from 60 to 80 people. Later, the Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt Rainer Erich Haseloff ("Christian Democratic Union") said about two dead, including a child.

According to MDR TV and radio, German government representative in Saxony-Anhalt Matthias Schuppe called the attack on a crowd of people at a Christmas market a terrorist attack.

Later, Die Welt newspaper reported the arrest of a suspect in a hit-and-run attack on a crowd in Magdeburg. It also reported an unknown object in the back seat of the car, which experts believe may contain an explosive device.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed condolences to the families of the dead and injured. The Russian Embassy in Germany is clarifying information about the presence of Russian citizens among the victims. The Bild newspaper reported that Scholz and Interior Minister Nancy Feather would arrive in Magdeburg on December 21.
