Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on December 20 expressed his condolences to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the people of Germany and the families of the victims in connection with the incident at the Christmas fair in Magdeburg.

"I would like to express my deepest condolences to Olaf Scholz and the people of Germany in connection with the horrific terrorist attack at the Christmas fair in Magdeburg," Orban said in a message on social network X (former Twitter).

He also said he was praying for the families of those killed in the incident in the German city.

A car collision with a crowd in the city of Magdeburg in Germany was reported earlier in the day. According to the portal T-Online, 11 people were killed in the accident and 60 others were injured. The police launched a large-scale operation and used a helicopter for this purpose. The footage shows many ambulances standing with sirens on. The injured are being treated right on the spot.

Also in the regional government of Saxony-Anhalt called a terrorist attack on a crowd of people at the Christmas market in Magdeburg.

At the same time, Scholz expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of a car collision with a crowd in the German city of Magdeburg. He also thanked the "dedicated rescuers during these anxious hours."
