Air defense forces have shot down one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) over Belgorod Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 20.

"On-duty air defense means of the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed over the territory of Belgorod region," - reported in the Telegram-channel of the Ministry.

It is noted that the Kiev regime tried to commit a terrorist attack on the Russian region with the use of UAV aircraft type.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces destroyed four drones over Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions. The strike was foiled between 19:00 and 20:00 Moscow time.
