Foreign partners visited the site of the future video games and animation cluster in Skolkovo

Heads of creative companies, studios and associations from friendly countries visited the site of the video games and animation cluster, which will open in the Skolkovo innovation cluster next year. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina told about it.

"Experts from India, Brazil and Indonesia got acquainted with the possibilities of the future cluster. Colleagues were impressed by the idea of combining all stages of game and animation creation in one space. They evaluated the architectural concept and infrastructure of the project, held negotiations with Moscow developers", - she noted.

In total, more than 50 meetings were held with the participation of foreign and Moscow specialists. The parties exchanged experience, presented their products and concluded cooperation agreements.

President of the Indonesian Games Association Shafig Hussein said that he sees a huge potential for partnership with the Russian side in the field of games. "I will tell my colleagues in Indonesia about the cluster - I am impressed, everything has been thought out to the last detail. This is really what developers need," he added.

The cluster will house offices, meeting rooms, server rooms, motion capture (for the production of realistic graphics) and sound recording studios, as well as a lecture hall, conference hall and exhibition area. Modern equipment will allow to create video games and animations of any complexity.

Deepak Ail, co-founder of an Indian company, called the Moscow video game cluster a world-class project with an infrastructure that can give a powerful impetus to the development of the industry. "It opens up huge prospects for international cooperation. We are exploring the possibility of locating an office or a team in Moscow to become part of this project and together with Russian developers bring the industry to a new global level," Deepak Ail emphasized.
