Court in Moscow arrests journalist Felgengauer in absentia for a month

Nikolsky district court of Moscow arrested in absentia journalist Tatyana Shadrina (known under the surname Felgengauer, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) for failure to perform the duties of a foreign agent. "The decision of the Nikulinsky district court of Moscow Shadrina Tatiana Vladimirovna, accused of committing a crime under part 2 of article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evasion from the performance of duties provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents"), elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention for one month", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

The journalist was put on an international wanted list.

A criminal case against Shadrina because of her violation of the legislation on foreign agents was initiated on September 25.

On December 1, 2022, the law regulating the activities of foreign agents came into force in Russia.
