Police officers organized an inspection after the discovery of a camera in a school toilet in St. Petersburg. This was reported on December 20 in the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city and Leningrad region.

It is noted that the teacher of the school on December 17 appealed to the police with a message about the discovery of a video surveillance camera in the school toilet.

"Police officers arrived on the scene and seized the object of video fixation. At present, an inspection is being conducted on this fact," - stated in the message of the Department in the Telegram-channel.

It added that all the circumstances of the incident are being established.

Earlier, on December 13, a criminal case on hooliganism was opened after the beating of a female peer by pupils in Kotelniki near Moscow. Law enforcers began an inspection on the fact of negligence against the school staff.

The mother of the injured schoolgirl, named Nina, told Izvestia on December 13 that the teenage girls who beat up her daughter also abused other children and often recorded it on camera.
