Rudenya spoke about measures to support large families in the Tver Region


The measures outlined by the Head of State to improve the demographic situation should be systematically implemented. This was stated by Igor Rudenya, Governor of the Tver Region, following his participation in the State Council meeting devoted to the issues of family support in the Russian Federation.
"Based on the instructions given by the President we will finalize the measures that today are provided to large families, young families. Special attention will need to be paid to the effectiveness of support. Of course, there should be a new direction - housing for large families and those families who want to improve demography in the Russian Federation," Igor Rudenya said.
At the meeting of the State Council the issues related to the development of family policy, strengthening measures aimed at stimulating the birth rate, popularization of family values and other topics related to improving the quality of life and well-being of Russian families were discussed in detail.
According to the press service of the Tver Oblast government, today the Verkhnevolzhye region is working to create conditions for the upbringing of the younger generation and to protect the health of children and parents. Kindergartens and schools, health care and sports facilities are being built in the Tver Region under the National Projects. In order to popularize family values and responsible parenthood, Family of the Year and Best Family Farmstead contests are held, and winners are awarded prizes and valuable gifts, respectively.
Over the last 10 years the number of large families in the region has more than doubled - today there are over 16 thousand of them. More than 52 thousand children are brought up in large families.
Before the meeting of the State Council, Governor Rudenya took part in the all-Russian charity event "Christmas Tree of Wishes". He removed three balls from the Kremlin "Christmas Tree of Wishes". The Governor will present a scooter to six-year-old Lera Kozlova from the family of an SVO participant living in Likhoslavl. Igor Rudenya will present an electric scooter to 11-year-old Kirill Fedorov from Rzhev. And seven-year-old Taisiya Padalka from Berdyansk will receive a New Year's surprise.
