More than 70 illegal Christmas trees were seized in Simferopol

In Simferopol seized more than 70 Christmas trees during raids on points of sale of coniferous trees. Protocols were drawn up on violators, reports the press service of the city administration on Friday, December 20.

Illegal sites were identified by employees of the mayor's office and law enforcement officers. Inspections of retail outlets will continue until the end of the year.

As SevastopolMedia IA notes, the authorities asked citizens to buy Christmas trees and pine trees for the holiday only from legal sellers.

Earlier in December it was reported that in the coming spring Simferopol will be decorated with 40 thousand flowers. Thus, daffodils and tulips were planted on Tolstoy Street and in Kazan Square.
