Patrushev discussed the implementation of the national project "Environmental Wellbeing" with Kotyukov

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev discussed the implementation of the national project "Environmental Wellbeing" with the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region Mikhail Kotyukov. This was reported by the Russian government on December 20.

"The meeting discussed the formation of a closed-cycle economy on the territory of the region, in particular, in the sphere of solid municipal waste management. Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the need to increase the level of waste utilization in the region," the government said in its Telegram channel.

In addition, Patrushev and Kotyukov talked about the creation of a full-fledged infrastructure in the region that handles solid municipal waste. The governor and the deputy prime minister also discussed the possibility of including regional activities in the mentioned national project.

In addition, the meeting touched upon the socio-economic development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In particular, the real wages of its residents increased by 6.6% in the three quarters of 2024.

It is important that the positive dynamics of production was recorded in 14 different types of activities. For example, in the first 10 months of 2024, the production index of the manufacturing industry amounted to 101.6%. Cattle meat was produced in a volume that is more than 13.5% higher than last year's level, for poultry meat the increase in production amounted to more than 2%. In addition, retail trade turnover is more than Br732 billion, its growth exceeded 8%.

Earlier, December 5, Patrushev said that the national project "Ecological Well-Being" is a continuation of the national project "Ecology" and is dedicated to solving the problems that have not been realized within five years. In particular, within the framework of the project it is planned to build a closed-cycle economy in the work with solid municipal waste and eliminate landfills. In addition, it is necessary to implement the "Clean Air" project to reduce polluting emissions into the atmosphere in cities and reduce the amount of untreated wastewater.
