An employee of an energy company was electrocuted in Minusinsk

An employee of the company "KrasEKo" in Minusinsk fell under the voltage of the power grid and died. This was reported by the State Labor Inspectorate in Krasnoyarsk Krai on Friday, December 20.

The tragedy occurred back in August. A team of workers came to the transformer substation. One of the electricians switched off the disconnectors in the electrical installation. Without making sure that the current-carrying part was de-energized, the man started working, as a result of which he was electrocuted.

The State Labor Inspectorate conducted an investigation. The incident was qualified as an industrial accident. The main reason - unsatisfactory organization of works, including the lack of control over their implementation.

As KrasnoyarskMedia IA notes, the company was obliged to eliminate the causes that led to the accident. The legal entity was also fined 75 thousand rubles. The case materials were sent to the prosecutor's office and the investigation department.
