The most popular right-hand drive cars in Russia have been named

In the period from January to November 2024, the rating of right-hand drive cars by the share of requests for history check in Russia was headed by the Toyota Mark II model. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 22 by experts of the online car history check service "Avtoteka" (Avito project).

The leader in the number of requests was the Toyota brand: its share amounted to 40.46%. In second place was Nissan with 19.08%, in third place - Honda with 11.22%. Mitsubishi (7.88%) and Mazda (6.63%) are also in the top five.

More often than other right-hand drive cars Russians checked the history of the Toyota Mark II sedan, its share in requests amounted to 4.1%. On the second line - Toyota Corolla with a share of 3.04%, on the third - Mazda Demio with 2.27%.

The fourth place went to Toyota Vitz, Nissan March closed the top five. Nissan Sunny, Honda Fit, Nissan Serena, Toyota Crown and Caldina completed the top ten. The leader in dynamics was Toyota Crown: in comparison with January - November 2023, the number of requests to check the history of the model increased by 20.61%.

As noted by Managing Director of "Autoteka" Andrey Tumkin, buyers appreciate in Japanese cars good equipment, build quality and in some cases lower cost compared to left-hand drive cars, as well as the uniqueness of models created for the domestic market of Japan.
