In Russia, more than 76 thousand pairs of illegal shoes were seized from circulation. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 21 in the press service of the Center for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDAT, the state operator of the marking system "Honest Mark") on the results of nine months of this year.

In addition, it reported that more than 160.5 thousand illegal light industry goods were seized.

"These are products with signs of counterfeit, which were sold with violations and without labeling. Over 94,000 items of clothing and almost 30,500 pairs of shoes were confiscated by Rospotrebnadzor specialists, almost 50,000 items of clothing and over 23,000 pairs of shoes were confiscated by police officers and about 16,500 light industry goods and 22,500 pairs of shoes were seized by Russian customs officers," the CRPT explained.

For example, in the Novosibirsk region customs officers seized 4.2 thousand units of clothing and hats in a shopping mall, in the Lipetsk region Voronezh customs officers together with Lipetsk Rospotrebnadzor seized 133 jackets, 169 pairs of shoes and 99 textile accessories from an entrepreneur who owns a retail outlet. And the Volga electronic customs found 4.5 thousand units of counterfeit sports shoes with trademarks Adidas, Puma and Vans, which were confiscated and destroyed.
