Putin pointed to the need to preserve family mortgages at 6%


Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday, December 20, at a meeting of the State Council on Family Support that the family mortgage at 6% should be preserved and extended to the secondary market.
"People are very concerned about the preferential family mortgage at 6%. We agreed with the government, I ask to keep it, without any exemptions," he said.
On the eve of the Russian President during the "Results of the year" said that the family mortgage should not have any limits. He noted that this issue was discussed with the government. At the same time, in his opinion, this program should be preserved.
On the same day it was reported that the Ministry of Finance of Russia on the instructions of the President will prepare amendments to the rules for granting family mortgages to exclude the mechanism of limits from the program.
