Russian Air Force Su-34 destroyed AFU personnel and equipment in the Kursk border area

The crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has eliminated the manpower and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 20.
"The strike was carried out on reconnaissance targets with aircraft bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK), which allows for precise strikes from a safe distance from the line of contact," the ministry said in a statement.
When reconnaissance confirmed that the targets had been successfully destroyed, the plane returned to the airfield as normal.
The footage shared by the ministry shows the Su-34 taking off and carrying out the strike.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that a 122-millimeter D-30 towed howitzer of the Tula Guards Airborne Compound destroyed an AFU infantry unit in the border area of the Kursk region. The formation consists of five men who have been working together for more than a year, so the team is cohesive. The howitzer is often used to clear a wooded area for Russian attack aircraft to enter.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of Ukrainian militants who invaded Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
