Almost 20 illegal logging operations detected in Zabaikalye during the week

In the Transbaikal Territory, 19 illegal logging operations have been detected since the beginning of the week. The total volume of timber amounted to 286 cubic meters, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources reported on Friday, December 20.

Offenses were revealed in Karymsky, Khiloksky, Chita, Ononsky, Alek-Zavodsky, Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky, Verkhne-Chitinsky, Ingodinsky districts. The damage caused by the actions of malefactors exceeded 1.5 million rubles.

Information about illegal logging was passed to the police to identify the guilty, writes IA ChitaMedia. They face administrative and criminal liability.
