Arbitration courts in eight Russian regions are considering 27 cases against VB Development, a company owned by Vladislav Bakalchuk, the husband of Wilbderries founder Tatiana Kim. This was reported by "RIA Novosti" on Monday, January 20.
Cases are considered by instances in Moscow, Novosibirsk, Leningrad, Sverdlovsk and Rostov regions, Transbaikal Territory, as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg. The plaintiffs are contractor organizations, which are trying to recover a total of 75.9 million rubles.
At the same time, the Arbitration Courts of Moscow and Moscow Region are considering more than 10 claims from VB Development itself against eight contractors for 843.9 million rubles. Another claim against STROY-COR LLC for the amount of 20.7 million rubles has already been decided by the court in favor of Bakalchuk's company, and the suit against SK OLYMPE LLC for 166 million rubles has been terminated. All these claims were filed in the second half of 2024. The total amount of claims of "VB Development" to the contracting organizations exceeded 1 billion rubles.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, VB Development LLC is wholly owned by Vladislav Bakalchuk. Until September 2024, the company was a technical customer in the construction of logistics complexes Wildberries. In September, RVB (the United Company of Wildberries and Russ) announced the transfer of the construction of logistics projects to a subsidiary.
