Two cars were damaged after two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked the Shebekinsky district of Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 20.

"The AFU with the help of drones continue attacks on our territory. Preliminarily, there are no casualties. In the town of Shebekino FPV-drone attacked a truck in the parking lot of an agricultural enterprise, the trailer is sliced," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

In addition, Gladkov said that the second drone exploded on impact with the roadbed on a section of the Shebekino-Belgorod road, damaging the body and wheels of a passenger car.

He added that information on the consequences is being clarified.

On the eve Gladkov reported that Ukrainian troops attacked Belgorod region again, making attacks in different districts. He noted that in the Shebekinsky district in the village of Balki, windows in two private houses were blown out, roofs, fences and outbuildings were slashed after a shell came in.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
