"Fijital Games 2025" in Russia will be held in Nizhny Novgorod


The annual all-Russian competition "Fijital Games 2025" in Russia will be held in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the press service of ANO "ARKIVS" on December 20. This kind of sport combines traditional disciplines with virtual competitions.
It noted that today in the coordination center of the government of the Russian Federation is held an event dedicated to summarizing the fijtal results. The key event of the industry of the outgoing year was the first international multisport tournament "Games of the Future". It was held in Kazan from February 21 to March 3.
This sport continued its active development at the All-Russian level, and the Fijital Games 2024 were held in Moscow from September 1 to 8. There were four disciplines in total. 312 athletes from 32 regions of Russia took part in the competition. The winners received the right to participate in the international qualification.
The press service of ANO "ARKIVS" also noted that in December 2024 the government of the Russian Federation approved the concept of development of fijital-movement on the territory of Russia for the period up to 2030. Among its main tasks - the development of infrastructure for such sports, including the creation of centers, improving the system of sports and physical culture events in its disciplines and the development of fijital-education in the country. It is assumed that the country will create a scientific and methodological base for training such athletes and advanced training programs for coaches and sports referees.
At the same time, 10 fijital-centers have already been created under various government programs, and 300 more are planned to be opened by 2030.
Earlier, on December 10, it was reported that a third of Russians (28.9%) are fond of cybersports. This is stated in the results of a study of the analytical center of the Association for the Development of Interactive Advertising (ARIR). And among them the share of men is only 61.9%.
