Children and teenagers will learn how to make videos and write scripts at the Gorky Film Campus

In January, the Maxim Gorky Film Studio will organize a series of free master classes for children and teenagers. Participants of the classes will learn how to voice films and animated pictures, shoot videos and create comics, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Intensives will be held in the creative youth space "Kinokampus Gorky" on weekends: January 18, 19, 25 and 26. Participants will learn to write scripts, try themselves as actors and communicate with industry professionals", - said Sergunina.

Four master classes will be held daily. So, January 18-19 and January 25-26 listeners will be told about the basic principles of voicing the characters of different pictures. As part of the intensives on January 18 and 25, children will be offered to play in several scenes from plays and fairy tales. During other acting classes, those who wish will visit a movie set.

On the same dates, participants will learn about all stages of movie production. They will divide into groups and shoot a video based on the proposed scenarios.

On January 19 and 26, children and teenagers are expected to attend master classes on creating comics. Professional artists will show examples of works with different drawing techniques and offer to repeat them. There will also be classes devoted to shooting dynamic videos with a cell phone.

Those who wish will be introduced to scriptwriting: within the framework of the intensive they will talk about the laws of drama and the subtleties of writing memorable stories.
