Christmas tree markets open in St. Petersburg


The season of Christmas tree markets starts in St. Petersburg from Friday, December 20. It will last until the end of January. This was announced by Alexei Korabelnikov, Vice-Governor of the Northern Capital, in his Telegram channel.
He urged the city residents not to support illegal trade, and to buy Christmas trees only in specially designated places.
TV channel " 78" specifies that you can choose a tree for the New Year's holiday through the service "Trade and Services" in the mini-application "I live here", through the Internet map RGIS St. Petersburg and through the chatbot "Christmas tree bazaar".
Earlier it was reported that, according to analysts of the wallet YuMoney and analytical resource "Check Index" of the company "Platform OFD", the majority of surveyed Russians (59%) put a Christmas tree for the New Year. From time to time this is done by 16% of respondents, and 4% decorate the house with spruce branches. Another 21% of survey participants never put such a coniferous tree at home.
