More than 10 people were injured due to ice in St. Petersburg over the day

In St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, 13 people were injured on slippery sidewalks during the day. Six people have fractures, the rest have bruises or wounds.
Such data is cited by TV channel "78" with reference to their sources. On the eve, December 19, the channel reported about 22 injured during the ice in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Most of them went to the medics with fractures.
Earlier, the head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov told about sharp temperature spikes in Moscow in December. According to the forecaster, before going into the plus area of the temperature scale, the region should be visited by strong frosts.
