Materials of the case of the accident with two victims on the highway "Kola" were submitted to court

The Prosecutor's Office of Kandalaksha (Murmansk Region) has sent to court the materials of a criminal case of a fatal road accident that occurred on the Kola highway. As a result of the accident two people died.

IA "Bi-Port" specifies that the accident occurred at the 1116th km of the highway on December 12, 2023. The driver of Lada Largus drove into the oncoming traffic, failed to cope with the control, and his car collided with Hyundai. Three passengers of the domestic car were seriously injured. Two of them died.

The driver of the Lada Largus is accused of the accident. He faces up to seven years in prison.

Earlier, on December 19, it was reported that in Kyshtymsky urban district of Chelyabinsk region crashed bus Higer, carrying 25 children accompanied by two adults. As a result of the accident three passengers were injured. The cause of the accident, according to preliminary data, was heavy snowfall. The driver failed to cope with the control and drove off into a ditch. The bus overturned.
