FAS uncovered a cartel in the implementation of national projects worth more than 2.8 billion rubles

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has uncovered a cartel in the implementation of the national projects "Demography" and "Education" worth more than 2.8 billion rubles. This was reported in the press service of the antimonopoly body on December 20.

"The bidding was held for the performance of design and survey work and construction of non-residential buildings in the city of Moscow, Primorsky Krai and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug," - specified in the FAS.

Park Invest LLC, Gardarika LLC, as well as two individual entrepreneurs were found to have violated antimonopoly legislation. They concluded and implemented an anticompetitive agreement to maintain prices in five trading procedures.

"Business entities when participating in the auctions adhered to an unfair strategy with the conventional name "ram" in order to price disorientation of bona fide participants and ensure the victory of a predetermined person", - added in the service.

The FAS specified that the case materials will be transferred to law enforcement agencies to decide whether to initiate criminal proceedings. Violators face fines.

Earlier, on December 17, it was reported that the Federal Antimonopoly Service uncovered a cartel worth Br15 billion within the framework of the national project "Safe Quality Roads". There were established signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation in the actions of several organizations involved in the construction, repair, reconstruction of roads.

Before that, on October 4, the FAS said that a case of violation of antimonopoly legislation was initiated against bidders for the provision of services for the transportation of solid municipal waste (SKW) in the Ryazan region. A number of companies and individual entrepreneurs were suspected of collusion when participating in the bidding process conducted by the regional operator for TKO handling. The amount of contracts amounted to 7.85 billion rubles.
