Special forces of Rosgvardia destroyed an SUV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region with a kamikaze drone. This was reported on Friday, December 20, in the press service of the agency.

"In one of the districts of the Kursk region, the operator of the Rosgvardiya UAV detected an SUV moving at high speed in the direction of enemy positions", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.

After detecting the enemy's equipment, special forces fighters decided to destroy it with the help of a kamikaze drone.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the calculation of 122-millimeter towed howitzer D-30 of the Tula Guards Airborne Unit destroyed an infantry unit of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region.

Ukrainian fighters attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the AFU continues.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
