"Now there are 27 regions-sheriffs working in our republic, with whom we are restoring civilian infrastructure, social facilities, residential buildings," Pushilin told RIA Novosti.
According to him, only by the end of November, almost 700 multi-story houses were repaired and about 130 km of roads in settlements were restored. Much assistance is provided by Moscow in the communal sphere, including the replacement of outdated boilers with modern ones. In 2024, almost 13 kilometers of water supply networks and more than 6 kilometers of heat supply networks have been replaced.
In addition, Pushilin added that emergency brigades eliminate about 300 accidents every day.

The humanitarian action became possible within the framework of the project "Moscow helps", which is held for the third year in a row. Also within the framework of the action the capital volunteers together with regional volunteers visit rehabilitation centers, orphanages, kindergartens and schools.
Earlier, on December 4, Popular Front volunteers delivered humanitarian aid to civilians in the liberated town of Selidovo in the DNR. The aid included 100 packages, including food packages.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
