The air defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Bryansk Region. This was announced by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on December 20.

"Two enemy UAVs of aircraft type were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry over the Bryansk region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to Bogomaz, there are no casualties or damage as a result of the Ukrainian attack.

At the same time, operational and emergency services are working on the site, he added.

Earlier, December 19, the governor of Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the Ukrainian troops again attacked the region with the help of a drone. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, but there are numerous damages, he said.

Also on this day Gladkov said that several residential houses, cars and the building of an agricultural enterprise were damaged as a result of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks in Belgorod region over the past day. He specified that the Ukrainian strikes also damaged a passenger car in the farm Babka in Valuysky district and the roof of one of the buildings of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Pyatnitskoye in Volokonovsky district.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
