In Novosibirsk there was a fire in the apartment of a two-storey residential building, a man died as a result of the incident. This was reported in the Prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region on December 20.

It was preliminarily established that the report of the fire in a two-story apartment building on Samotechnaya Street was received on Friday, December 20, at 04:49 local time (00:49 Moscow time). The specialists who arrived on the scene liquidated the fire and evacuated the residents.

"In the course of removing the debris in the apartment where the fire occurred, a dead man was found. The cause of the fire is established", - specified in the message in the Telegram-channel.

The Prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Novosibirsk organized an inspection, which will assess the implementation of housing legislation.
