Forecasters predicted precipitation and warming to +3 degrees Celsius in Moscow on December 20

Cloudy, light precipitation, in some places moderate (mainly rain), in some places ice, icy and up to +3 degrees - such weather expects residents of the capital region on Friday, December 20. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from +1 to +3 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to +1.

In Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -2 to +3 degrees, at night the temperature may fall to -2.

A south wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 737-738 mm of mercury column.

Cold weather could change to snowfall by the end of the day

On the eve, December 19, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warned Muscovites about changeable weather. He noted that the situation will change very quickly. However, despite such weather changes, the snow cover in Moscow will remain.

On December 18, the weather forecaster said that in the regions of the North-Western and Central Federal Districts of Russia (NWFD and CFD), abnormally cold weather with frosts up to -30 degrees Celsius is predicted. He added that the temperature in Tver, Moscow and Yaroslavl regions will be 6-9 degrees below normal.
