In Omsk, investigators are conducting an inspection after a mass poisoning at a recreation center. Information about it was published on December 19 on the website of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk region.

"According to preliminary data, several vacationers, including minors, sought medical help with signs of food poisoning, refused hospitalization. Currently in the hospital are four adults, their condition is satisfactory", - stated in the message of the agency.

It is specified that interviews of the sick and employees of the rest home are also conducted. The question of initiation of criminal proceedings will be decided on the results of the inspection.

Earlier in the day, a source of "Izvestia" reported that 25 people showed signs of illness after an outbreak of intestinal infection in a country hotel in Omsk. According to the interlocutor, nine children are among the victims.
